About This Archive

What this site is now

An educational archive. The material here was written over several years, most of it for Responsible Empowered Living, a Canadian harm reduction non-profit I founded (2022–2025). Its educational work is preserved here so it stays available.

What this site is not

It is not a practice. I am not accepting consultations, I do not offer therapy, and nothing here is medical advice, a diagnosis, a prescription, or an offer of psychedelic-assisted therapy.

I am a Student Counsellor in Training — a student in the Master of Psychotherapy and Spirituality at St. Stephen's College, University of Alberta, with a supervised practicum planned for 2027. I am not a psychotherapist, a registered clinical counsellor, or a certified counsellor, and I will not use those titles until they are properly mine.

I am a registered pharmacist in British Columbia. That registration is real, current, and governs pharmacy practice only.

Reading older material here

Some pages date from earlier and were written in a different voice, when the organisation was active and the field was younger. Where older material overstates the evidence, the newer pages on this site are the correct account. Two standing corrections worth stating plainly:

Psychedelics do not cure disease. Evidence for psychedelic-assisted therapy in certain mental-health conditions is encouraging and still developing. Encouraging is not proven, and neither is anywhere near a cure — particularly for physical illness.

Nothing here tells anyone to stop or change a medication. That decision belongs to a person and their prescriber.
